No effort was spared to make me feel at home
The right care for you
Every care home is different, so before making a decision about which home to choose it is vital for everyone to have enough information to help in the selection. A visit to a care home will allow you to see the facilities and services for yourself, and gain a true 'feel' of the home.
At Forest Care Home you'll meet Home Manager, Michelle Sims, key members of staff and, most importantly, residents when you look around for the first time. Call us to arrange a visit and check bed availability.
Once you have made your choice, an assessment of your needs will be carried out by the Home Manager to ensure that we can support you with the right kind of care.
A warm welcome
If you join our community, all our staff will work together to make your new home a happy, comfortable and safe place. From the moment you arrive, they will welcome you and your family, and make you feel at home.
The Home Manager will spend time with you to create a personal care plan that helps every staff member provide the care you need, in the way you prefer it. Your care plan will be kept up-to-date to keep pace with your situation. Staff will get to know you as a person, be alert to your changing needs and ready to listen to any concerns you may have.
Everyone has different standards and tastes, but knowing the individual and their ways is always helpful. You will be treated as an individual by each staff member from your key-carer to the person who remembers just how you like your room. There will always be someone there to support and assist you.
We assess the individual requirements of potential residents whilst ensuring that the well-being of our existing residents is not compromised.
If you need any advice please speak to Michelle. She will assist where possible or refer you to the appropriate authority.
